Fragrance, fashion, and everything beautiful.

Romance is in the details.

Introducing Odette.

Palais Rose is proud to introduce our very first garment.

It is late at night, and someone across the way is playing La Vie en Rose.

It is the French way of saying, “I am looking at the world through rose-colored glasses,”  and it says everything I feel.

I have learned so many things, Father. Not just how to make vichyssoise or calf’s head with sauce vinaigrette, but a much more important recipe. I have learned how to live… how to be in the world and of the world… and not just to stand aside and watch. And I will never, never again run away from life… or from love, either.

I am taking the plane home on Friday, father. You needn’t pick me up at the airport. I’ll just take the Long Island Railroad and you can meet me at the train—the 4:15. If you should have any difficulty recognizing your daughter, I shall be the most sophisticated woman at the Glen Cove Station.

A few details...

All Palais Rose candles are made with natural coconut apricot wax.

We chose this natural option for several reasons... most importantly, to protect our health.

Palais Rose was founded because virtually every "luxury" candle today is made with paraffin wax, which has been shown to have alarming health consequences (but is cheaper, and thus, more profitable). We went the natural route because we believe that a luxury product should not require you to comprimise, especially where your health and safety are concerned.

Furthermore, natural coconut apricot wax is one of the most ecologically responsible and sustainable candle wax options.

Designed to perfume the entire home.

Another reason we chose natural coconut apricot wax is because it allows for maximum "hot throw", which essentially means that when lit, the candle's scent will fill absolutely every inch of your space—those walking through the door will smell it immediately, and the fragrance will linger for hours, long after the candle is blown out.

Rich, powerful, and beautifully enduring.

Each Palais Rose candle is made with the highest amount of fragrance oil that the candle can safely handle, thus ensuring a scent that is powerful, enveloping, and incredibly long-lasting.

Burn after reading...

To keep your candle looking gorgeous and performing optimally, trim the wick before each use. Allow the surface of the candle to melt completely each time it is lit to ensure an even burn, and limit burn time to no more than three hours at a time. If soot appears on the inside of the glass, simply wipe it away with a soft, dry cloth to restore its pristineness.

Our inspirations are many.

Palais Rose is for lovers of fine details.

From date nights at the ballet, to Holly Golightly's Burberry trench coat in Breakfast at Tiffany's, to the sparkling chandeliers in Marie Antoinette's hall of mirrors, our inspirations are drawn from the little things.

Palais Rose (noun, French):

Translates to “Rose Palace” or “Pink Palace.” Connotes a refined, Versailles-inspired interior world of crystal chandeliers, antique French furniture, intricate crown moldings, gilded objets d’art, and Sèvres porcelain vases filled with white roses, pale pink orchids, peonies, and hyacinths; a romantic château of the imagination.
